HDV tape won't play back

I recorded 9 tapes with my Canon XH A1 a couple of weeks ago and out of those, two won't play back. I've tried several different decks and cameras. I see the footage is there when i fast forward and rewind, but when I hit play, the screen goes to blue at most points, and at some, it will play and skip. I have tried playing it back in auto and DV just to be sure it's not a format issue. The tapes are Panasonic dv tapes, which I've been using for years. I cleaned the heads before the shoot and before the capturing process. I've never had this happen before. Any ideas?

Sounds like a head clog. I had this happen to me on a tape. I could see the footage in FF/RW, but just a blue screen in play. All my other tapes were fine before and after. There must have been some dust or dirt that got in the heads. Mine cleared itself at the tape change. These small cameras do not have confidence heads or any warnings for this. I hate to say it, but I could not use the footage. Sorry for the bad info.
