Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to give a heads up that we've posted a bunch of footage and stills from a shootout we did over the weekend between these two cameras. It's not all encompassing or completely scientific, we just put both cameras next to each other and pointed them at the same scene, with out of the box presets on both cameras. I think what we got is pretty interesting, so check it out!

Interesting: thanks for sharing all that. In the low light tests, can you provide more info about the camera settings for the shots marked "stopped down"?
P.S. I'm having trouble accessing the still frames. Can anyone else download them?

"It seems that 720 is so 20th century and that 1080p is the nines, at least for now."
And don't forget the HVX200 is really only 540p at the sensor level, which helps explain why the EX1 images are obviously clearer in scenes with a lot of detail. Neither camera is perfect, but the EX1 sure puts some pressure on Panasonic to do an upgrade.
