HVR-1500 DVCPro iLink

Can any of you HVR-1500 owners out there tell me if the 1500 can playback DVCPro 25 tapes via its Firewire output? (I have a DSR-1800 with the iLink card. It can play DVCPro tapes, but only via the analog outputs.)

Not via firewire. It's in the manual.
