HDV to DVD

Howdy yall,

Need Help Please!

I have a project in FCP that was shot in on HDV.

1. Using FCP or Compressor what is the best way to compress it to get highest quality image on to DVD in DVDSP. my TRT:25 min.

Please help deadline coming up!

Are you talking about HDV to an SD DVD? If so, have you thought about compressing it in Compressor to the appropriate Preset, then authoring in it DVDSP? Or are you talking about creating a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD disk? You can do HD compressing in Compressor, but DVDSP doesn't do HD. Adobe Encore does though.

sorry but DVDSP dont do HD DVD ?

DVD Studio Pro absolutely supports HD-DVD format ( I burn them all the time on a DVD-5). It does not support BluRay.
