KONA LHe HDV Hardware Acceleration?

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with how much hardware acceleration the KONA LHe card has for HDV? I was looking at the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro until I found out it isn't ready for non-intel Macs. I have a duel core G5.

If the Kona card does help with HDV I would consider it.

I just won one of those cards in a drawing and what little research I have been able to do indicates it is not for acceleration.

I have this card and yes it does support HDV. You should give a call to AJA tech support and ask them this question. They are really great to talk with and extremely helpful.
