HDV Frame Rate

What is the true frame rate for SONY HDV 1080i60. The SONY manual just stays it is NTSC Color, EIA standards 1080/60i specification. I asume that it is 59.94 right? I'm doing a custom project and I need to know to set everything up correctly.

The easy set ups in FCP will set it up just fine for you.

That woudl be great if I was doing a standard kind of project but I'm working on a special resolution that is 2559 x 480. So I need to know what my native frame rate will be.

Do the easy set up for the HDV you are working with and then go under the sequence settings and enter in your custom size.
FYI if you a curious about the settings on any format just do an easy set up and then check the sequence settings it tells you everything about it. Frame size, frame rate, etc.
