HVR-M25U and new Sony HDV camera

Is the current M25U Sony deck compatible with tapes shot at 1080/24P with the new Sony HDV camera, model HVR-V1U?

Every deck should be. The Sony records its 24p within a 60i data stream specifically so that it would be compatible with all 1080/60i HDV equipment.

EDIT: when I said "every deck" I should have said "every Sony deck"; obviously JVC decks will not work with any 1080 footage.
