Does anyone have any suggestions? We're trying to output from Final Cut Pro to the JVC HDV deck, but it seems it doesn't support it. There has to be a way, right?

Having any luck?

A couple of things.

1./ Are u using "A NEW TAPE". HDV will not record onto a tape which has already been used for DV (I Believe)

2./ The only way to output HDV to Tape is to use the Print To Video command. EDIT to TAPE is NOT SUPPORTED in HDV. Print to Video should render and conform the job 4 u.

Are you referring to the JVC SRDVD100 (IODATA Avel Link) unit? If so, I can tell you what you need to know.
