template monitors for web videos
by jack entonces on Sep 18, 2008 at 3:05:42 am

hi there:
You know when you watch web videos sometimes the video is inserted "inside" a monitor image. So it looks like you're looking at a tv playing your video.

Does anyone know where I can find these monitors/tv's so that I can place
my videos "inside" or "on top" giving the impresssion that my video is being
played on a little monitor.

I've googled, but can't find anything.
iWeb has some good movie templates, but I don't have iWeb.
thanks

hello...

easiest thing to do would probably be to buy a cheap monitor picture from istockphoto or even just grab one from a google image search and break it out in photoshop - then you can use an html table to build the page, with 4 slices:

- 1 top (including corners)
- 2 sides
- 1 bottom (including corners)

then you can put your movie in the middle cell and you're good to go...

hope that helps!
