Missing tools in Paint toolbar... please help!

Hello.
I was hoping to do the following tutorial for combustion:

The problem is, at the point when I am to make the arrow the filled polygon tool is not there in the toolbar in my workspace, rather several tools visible in the screenshot from the toolbar are absent. I am using the Combustion 4 on the Mac OSX system.
How do I access the full toolset?
