Logos loaded into TEXT look low resolution???
by Justin on May 7, 2007 at 7:05:54 am

Hey guys,

Got another question that is hopefully an easy fix...

I have been playing around with doing credit rolls in Smoke and have found that loading logos into the roller seem to reduce the quality of the logo.

The logo it self is 1920x1080, but when it gets loaded into the text, it comes in as tiny and I have to select it and pump up the font size to make the logo the size I want it.

The problem is that the quality of this logo is very jaggy, as if I the logo was resized on import, hard commited and then enlarged again.

Hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance.

The logo will import at whatever the current font size is for that layer. Go into setup and increase the anti-alais for the scene. This will improve your logo. (just like in DVE)

Thx BKM - I found this just after I posted, but I apprecaite your response as it would have saved me a lot of time had I not stumbled on the setting.
