Velocity 10.0 ... Confused

Hi Everyone,
As a VelocityHD user who is committed to using the product to death I am now confused as to whether we are going to see 10.0 this summer- or ever. Does anyone actually know?
Appreciate any input.

Well as a V10 beta tester, who is having issues with the progress and processes of V10, I asked the same question and this is what I got somewhat heavely edited to protect the innocents "is that V10 is going to ship before the end of this year." So there you have it, it will ship before the end of the year wether it will be a "finished" products with all the problems fixed is a whole other story, but stay tuned.

I love dps too. As you already know. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US ANYMORE. I buy and sell dps parts to people who wants to have and extra backup.
I stop using dps product during the quatrust card.
I now switch to Canopus software base only. The quality passes the Velocity/HD 100 fold.
The thing about Canopus EDIUS is, it can NEVER become obsolete like dps. Edius depend on your
system, the faster they are, the more real time they get. Cheaper than dps 100fold. With computer
become more and more faster these day, Edius is the way to go.
THERE IS NOT A LOT DIFFERENT AT ALL BETWEEN FIRE AND SDI I/O compressed or uncompressed.
Nowadays, cameras are tapeless, so there's no lost in transfering to your favorite NLE.
The dpsVelocityHD lack alot of usable fx- their chroma key is terrible. Slo mo is terrible.
Soft focus is terrible, no blend tool for the price, focus too much on trans fx, the video filter
look not professional. the Color White Balance is terrible. Yes the realtime card base is good but become obsolete in 2 to 3 years.
If I were you, I should start experinemnt with other package.
