While there has been some uncertainty surrounding Harris’ commitment to deliver the VelocityHD and VelocityQ Version 10 upgrade, we are indeed devoted to shipping this software release. Version 10 represents vital longevity to our editing products -- and to our loyal customers.
The release of Version 10 is now scheduled for summer 2008. Between now and then, we are committed to pursuing an active beta cycle to ensure the most feature rich and robust software release possible. We encourage any users wishing to participate in this beta program to contact the beta coordinator at: VelocityHD_Beta-owner@yahoogroups.com.
While VelocityHD remains a powerful and active shipping product, we would like to remind users of our newest editing systems: VelocityNX and the forthcoming NewsForce, NewsForce Desktop, and NewsForce XNG. These Velocity-based editors represent a growing product line based around the robust NEXIO SAN architecture, and continue the superb legacy of dynamic, feature rich Velocity non-linear editors.
