Error #8

Error #8

I have tried using Toast, IDVD and DVD studio pro to burn a dvd and all of them say Error #8 after I pop in the disc and try to burn it...I've tried several different files an mpeg 4, mov and m2v and the same problem occurs.....any help for this? I have burned discs in the past but that was almost a year ago.

DVD uses only MPEG2, nothing else. Try an external burner ind see if the problem persists.

AS I said in my first post I tried Toast and iDVD and each one of them gave the same message.....so I think that it was something to do will the computer hardware......it's an old Mac - a G4 and it used to burn disc just fine until I moved.
