Video Editing software for beginners

I am currently working on a project and need to put together a sample DVD of the work I have done to be able to present it to the people I want to invest. I do not need a finished quality product. So I need a video editing software that is simple enough that I wont have to take a college class to be able to work. I am on Macs, any recommendations?
