DVD studio pro won't let me import large files

Alright, so I am posting here - is there not a Compressor section?
Anyway, 4 hour DV file. I split the file into an M2V track and an AC3 track.
The M2V file was huge - like 22gigs - but every time I try to import I get
an error that it doesn't fit the profile or whatever. This has nothing to do
with trashing the preferences or anything like that. It just doesn't. It only
does this with these huge files. What gives?
I'm pretty sure I can't get a 4 hour DV file any smaller in Compressor without
losing serious quality. What now?

I do not see any way how you would get 22GB file from Compressor in lenght of 4 hours. Someone please correct me...

You clearly did not use Compressor to create the m2v and ac3. Do that...

You probably encoded for HD DVD perhaps?
