HD PAL to SD

In FCP, I have an HDV project at a PAL frame rate of 50 fps.

I need to get this onto an SD disc in DVD Studio Pro.

How can I accomplish this short of re-creating the sequence on an SD timeline in FCP?

I don't believe the conversion process in QT export conversion will do this properly.

Can I use compressor?
