Quick Question - PAL DVDs

A friend is thinking of ordering a singer she likes - but it's a PAL DVD. Does anyone know if it will play back on her MacBook Pro? I would think so - but have never tried one...

just about every computer can play both NTSC or PAL but you need to check the region code for the DVD, you can only change the region something like 5 times on any Mac, so it the DVD is Region 2 you have to set the player to 2 then to play a movie you have to set it back to 1, If the DVD is all regions no worries.
