Hello,
Could someone please explain how a user can alter the Audio file that is placed in a Main Menu?
In other words, when viewing my exported DVD (on my DVD player) I find the audio volume to be significantly louder (greater) than the footage that is viewed after 'Play' is clicked on the Main Menu.
Where on DVD Studio Pro can a user increase/decrease the volumne for an audio?
If someone could provide step by step instructions, then that would be great!

This is an easy problem to solve. Yes a pain, but solvable. Go back in FCP. Make a new sequence. Drop the song in there and make as long or short as you want. Adjust the volume to -18 or whatever suits your other project. Then, export it to an .aif. Give it a name and save it to desktop. Then import it as an asset in DVD studio pro. Should work.
This is nice if you are added a button for info. You can make a short version of the song. If you use a whole song like for a bio page or something like that, the slide will stay up for the entire duration of the song. By making a 20 second version in FCP, you can solve that problem too.
Good luck. I had the same problem as you and solved it quickly this way.
