Repeating Menu scramble; A Mystery.

I created several short DVDs for a museum exhibit. The client requested that each have a moving menu that would act as a screen saver.
I created the DVDs in DVDSP4 using a .m2v file for the menu background, with a single invisible button to start the presentation movie.
The problem is that they say that these DVDs 'scramble' after only a few hours of playing the repeating menu. I claimed it was most likely a finicky machine, as it played on my DVD set-top player for over 12 hours with no problem. They tried another player and claimed it scrambled after 3 days. (why they would leave a DVD playing for three days I don't know.)
My question is is there another way to create a moving menu? or 'screen-saver' effect?
(These discs were burned on Taiyo-Yuden DVD-R with a brand new MacPro.)

All I've been told is that the menu 'scrambles' after some time. I've understood that this means it stops playing the moving menu and the picture scrambles. Requiring the DVD to be ejected and reinserted.

I require specific info when people are having problems. It doesn't work, it scrambles and the like can be anything.
But if the problem is what you are thinking and you have authored it correctly (confirming it with your player) I would agree that it is their player that is the problem. Sounds like it may even be an auto off.
But one possible solution would be to duplicate the menu, so it is exactly the same, end jump menu 1 to menu 2, then end jump menu 2 to menu 1. Since it is jump to something different each time it may keep it going, to the viewer there is no difference, you just need enough space on the disc for the duplicate menu.
