DVDSP 4.1.2 Menu below bottom of screen

My menu only displays partially and the lower part of it seems to be stretched beyond the bottom of the screen. The project is in 4:3 but it is the same in 16:9. Why, why, why?

I thought I had fixed it by checking all regions including 7, but that only worked for one project. On the following project the problem returned.

Why does it not automatically open the right aspect ratio at first attempt?

Not sure this is a DVDSP problem, seems like the issue is with you DVD player software, try trashing the player's prefs.

BTW, Regions have nothing to do with the image of playback. If your disc don't have the region set for the player the disc will not play.

Trashing prefs did not resolve the issue. I have tried playing the dvd as image and burned disc from several computers but the problem persists. Why?
