DVD Animated Menus Going Dark at Still Frame...

I'm creating menus in Motion and bringing them into DVD Studio Pro. For some reason, if I set the menus to go 'Still' at the end of the animation, the background of the animation goes dark. There is nothing but the animated menu file and some overlays (colored boxes) for buttons. But somehow, DVD Studio Pro manages to make the background of the animation go dark. Or maybe it doesn't? Maybe this is Motion's fault?

If you've seen this before, please enlighten me. Thanks!

Maybe you're animation ends with a black frame.
Try to shorten the animation (can do within dvdsp) and see if it happens again.

Or, you have a field dominance problem, where your anim ends at half a frame, thus one field image, one field black.

Should show on a proper interlaced monitor.
