Media Errors

Hope someone could help me out on this...
I have two machines with DVD Studio Pro that will not complete the formatting process due to media errors. The codes that appear are (0x73,0x03) on one machine and (0x00, 0x0C).
I've searched the manual, online and all I could find was a few suggestions (i.e. open more memory, shut down all other aps, do not disturb while burning) and none have worked thus far.
Is there an update? Directory issue. All of my files are clean and I haven't had the issue before until one day it just crapped out on me.
If there's anything else, aside from bringing the machines in, please let me know.
