Windows Media Player Reboots Computer

Hi,
I know the first reaction everyone will have is "don't use media player." Unfortunately our client insists the dvds we are making for them have at least some functionality in windows media player.
We have a main menu with three chapters, plus a DVD@ccess link to a web page which is not an issue (just for full disclosure). each chapter is a single track and links back to the main menu when finished. The problem is that once each chapter comes to an end the computer reboots. If we could just get rid of the rebooting factor we'd be very happy.

One question - do you have any commands linked to the chapter markers, like a script or even an end jump?
If no, author the DVD without DVD@ccess, rebooting is one of the know issues with PCs. Do this even if the DVD@ccess is not linked to the end of the chapters, this is just a trouble shooting step.
Even if this is not the problem, I strongly recommend NEVER using DVD@ccess, if nothing else it is a customer service nightmare.

ok, there are two different programs we sent to the client. one of them does not have dvd@ccess and still reboots the computer.
the one that does not only has end jumps from the tracks to the menu. no links to chapter markers. on the one that has the dvd@ccess, it is linked to a chapter marker, but we're not even getting there at this point. reboot apparently happens at the point of going to the menu from the end of chapter.

Do you have any commands on the chapter markers? I just listed the end jump because it is most common.
Also can the computers in question play other DVDs (preferably DVD-Rs) without a problem? This will at least expose if the problem is system wide and then it is nothing you can do.
This is a pain in the butt to say the least to trouble shoot, it is not like you have different ways to author except when it comes to scripting. (although programs like DVDSP are doing a ton of scripting under the hood)
Double check your non-DVD@ccess disc to make sure it doesn't have it check, also check the file structure of the disc to see if the DVD@ccess folder is being placed on there.
WM Play is very problematic do a search in this forum and DVD Authoring and you will find a ton of problems (and unfortunately very few solutions, other than get a MAC)
Oh, tell the person to UNISTALL DVD@ccess from their PC and see if that is what is causing the problem, even on the DVD@ccess free disc.

checked all the chapter markers. nada. dvd media we use is -r and good quality manufacturer (no problems there).
what i've noticed though is that chapter 1 and main menu were in the same vts folder. i don't know if that matters, but i've separated them. maybe wmp will like it better that way.
