16:9 in DVD Studio Pro
by Doug Normington on Aug 28, 2008 at 2:47:00 pm

Hello Cow People,

I have edited a 16:9 video in Final Cut Pro. 720x480 anamorphic.

I made a ref file and imported it into DVD Studio Pro.

I plays as 4:3 in DVD Studio Pro... :>(

I tried opening the ref quicktime file in Quicktime and then (command J) change the aspect ratio to 853x480.. and carefully saved it saved it and reopened it in Quicktime to make sure that the aspect ratio was saved.... reimported the now 853x480 video into Studio Pro and it still shows up as 720x480 and still plays 4:3. I am going insane. There must be a way to do this.

Thanks

Doug

If you click on the track there is a display mode option in the inspector. Might be on 4:3 the same goes for menus.
