Streamlining my media management:
When authoring I import a reference movie (not self-contained) from Final Cut in to DVDSP and encode.
My question concerns selecting the location of the files created in the process. Default setting is "Same folder as the Asset." Doesn't that mean my computer is reading and writing on one hard drive simultaneously? Does this put extraneous wear on the drive?
