adding custom logos to DVDSP menu templates
by Michael Oh on Aug 4, 2008 at 2:08:41 am

I've looked in the manual and searched the archive, but no hits really - maybe I am not using the right keywords.

I am using the "panes" template to create a menu, and just want to be able to add a couple of logos that will appear over the graphics that are there.

Can this be done ? ANy help appreciated.

thanks

Mike

Add the logos into a new Drop Zone.

Thanks Bruce for your input.

THis is the way I found to make it work. I would make two files exactly the same out of the logo EPS. One a tiff and one a PSD file. I would drop the tiff onto the menu in a new drop zone and then replace that with the PSD file to get an appropriate alpha channel. If I tried to drop the PSD file first, it would not give me the option for a drop zone. And it would not let me bring in an EPS file.

I am glad I got it to work, however, this seems far too complicated to be an effective workflow - what am I missing ?

thanks

Michael
