Can you add a slide show into a dropzone of a layered menu? This is the main menu which has a background. It was created using a .psd layered menu. But whenever a drop zone is added it doesn't seem to work. Can't even add a single slide to a dropzone let alone a slideshow.
The goal is to create a main menu page that has a window with a slide show looping inside of it.

If you are selecting "LAYERED MENU" within DVDSP you cannot use drop zones. If you created a template kind menus with drop zone structure (which would be a layered psd file, you need to be using a stardard MENU. But you cannot drop in a slideshow, make the slideshow a movie and drop the pre-made movie in.
Honestly I find stuff like this works better if you create the entire motion menu in something like Motion. I'm no graphics guy but I can make chapter menus with looping video in Motion with no trouble at all. In the end they look and act better.

Thank you. We finally just needed to know it wasn't possible. In the manuals its unclear and impossible to search. This concept works with a basic menu.
Here is what we did:
1) Create a standard menu. Use BG from the layered menu.
2) Create a square area for the movie are first as a button.
3) Convert the button to a drop zone.
4) Drag the movie into the drop zone.
5) Select loop.
6) Re-create the the layered menu using text buttons.
