Adding video background to a Layered Menu

I've created a layered menu in Photoshop with all my button situations.

I've got it working nicely in the menu with a transparent BG, but I want to add video as the background.

am I going to have to use another technique for this, or is there an workaround?

There is no workaround and it has been explained why often.

If you want video you have to use overlay method of buttons.
