Subtitles turn off when stop then start DVD player.

Hey everyone,
When I stop the DVD in a player, then start it again. Of course it goes back to where I left off.
Great.
But the subtitles are turned off now if they were turned on before.
Is this normal, and is there a way to fix it?
Currently I just have:
subtitles on = Subtitle track 2.
subtitles off = Subtitle track 1 (this subtitle track is empty (no subtitles).

I don't know if this will fix your problem with the DVD player.
There's a little checkbox marked "view" next to the subtitle drop down. I'm using that to turn my subtitles on and off. I have two subtitle buttons. One is "ON" and the other is "OFF" and the only difference in their linking is the OFF button has "view" unchecked. I have my subtitles in track one and I don't link to any others.
Like I said, I don't know if this will help with your player issue. You may want to compare your disc to another DVD and see if the DVD player behaves the same way with other discs.
