Motion template in DVDSP ?
by Chris Lucey on May 5, 2008 at 9:49:42 pm

I used a template in Motion and then saved it. In motion it plays perfect. I then imported it as an asset into DVDSP. When simulating it i get some random interlacing and jumpiness. Am i missing something in the workflow. I burned it to DVD and watched it and most of it is good but there is some of the interlacing still. Ideas ?

How did you render and export from Motion? Or did you just load the Motion template right into DVDSP? It might help to first export it as a QT, then use Compressor to make it an m2v file so DVD SP can process it easier. also, i wouldn't trust the simulation screen too much as it will only give you a rough idea (though still pretty good) of what everything will look like. i THINK the quality of the simulation is dependent upon your graphics card.

thanks again!
