Copy Protection

Hi,
I'm currently producing DVDs on DVD Studio Pro & would like to know the easiest way to produce DVDs from that software with copy protection.

I did some research and read up that the only way to produce copy protected disks is through a DLT Tape & replication house. Is this true?

If there are any other solutions, please share them. Thanks.

Only replicated disc can be copy protected, most people use DLT to send to the replicator. There are two favors of copy protect

CSS - prevents copying or ripping from the disc to a computer (normally no charge for this)
MacroVision - prevents analog copying from the disc to a VCR (you pay a fee to MacroVision based on the replication run)

neither one is very effective and can easily be bypassed
