hide Buttons or generate hot keys in DVDSP4

hi.
my query is fairly straight forward.

i am doing the multi media for a live awards ceremony.i will be using pre edited seqs and motion graphics out put to DVD. which will then be put up on big screens around the venue.
i want to design the root menu to contain my logo/some edited clips and motion titles. i simply then want to be able to call each award up by hot key ie. for player of the year press 5 on the no pad. this will then call up my edited seqs and graphics for that award. by pressing 3 on the no. pad calls up junior player of the year etc etc etc

i only want my root menu to be seen not any buttons or drop zones.is this possible in DVD SP 4
