DVD Studio Pro HD Projects

Hey, Folks
I sent an HD project from Final Cut Pro 6 through Compressor, resulting in a HD H.264 and a HD MPEG-2. I created an HD project in DVD Studio Pro 4 and burned the project onto a DVD-5 and it played on a MacBook and a Mac Pro, but not anything else.
Can I connect the LaCie d2 Blu-ray drive and create a Blu-ray disc of my project? This is not for replication.
Our client wants a high definition representation of his DP's feature reel, but standard definition does not cut it. Thoughts?

Since it is a HD DVD project you are going to find it hard to play on a BluRay drive. The disc out of the Mac should play on a HD DVD player with the last firmware update.
Putting something on a BluRay disc does not make it a BluRay DVD.

Is the "HD DVD" project in DVD Studio Pro referring to HDDVD(Toshiba) or a high definition disc? The resulting file is 1920x1080. If the project simply means a high definition disc, couldn't I burn it to Blu-Ray? After clicking the Build & Format button and going to the Disc/Volume tab, there's a choice for choosing a Red Laser or a Blue Laser. Thoughts?

Is is making a HD DVD disc (yes think Toshiba). BluRay is a total different set up and you need something like Encore to be able to author BluRay, not sure about the burning and playing back since I'm not doing them yet. But I do know that what you are trying to do cannot be done.
