Trouble projecting a DVD

This has happened to us before with the same client.
We create a program in FCP which is just stills and text (text is tiffs from Photoshop and slight blur) The text is static.
We export via compressor, bring into DVDSP and create a DVD.
DVD looks fine on our ntsc monitors and at my client's home.
When projected at the conference, the text is "jumping".
Seems like something to do with progressive vs interlaced. but I'm short on time and 2 hours from the projector in question. Anything that I can/or should be doing on my end to avoid this?

Crisis averted by client taking her home DVD player to the venue.
I would still love to know what the real answer is (or even what questions to ask). As I said, this has happened before to the same client at a conference with a large AV firm ingesting my video into a Grass Valley playback system.
At that time it looked to me like a field dominance issue.
Any thoughts appreciated.
