SPRM 4 to GPRM 0 not working correctly

SPRM 4 to GPRM 0 not working correctly

I've got pre-script written to pass the value of SPRM 4 to GPRM 0. Simple enough:

Executing Pre-Script: SPRM4
1 mov GPRM 0, SPRM 4
GPRM 0 register changed: 1
2 Exit Pre-Script

As you can see, instead of passing the value reflecting the correct track number, a value of 1 is passed, regardless of track.

The SPRM 4 value is changing according to track, so I'm stumped as to why the value getting passed seems to default to 1 every time.

Any help greatly appreciated.

First, you don't need Exit prescript command because it is specifically used to ignore pre-scripts.
Second, I would test the disc in set-top player.
Some SPRM values are not a strength of the Simulator.

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply Alex. It seems you're right. Upon inspection in DVD AfterEdit, the SPRM value was indeed being passed properly and the DVD does work in set-top players.

Man, it's about time Apple gets serious about DVDSP as a full-on professional authoring solution...
