Encoding Settings in DVD Studio Pro

I have a final cut pro sequence a hour and 55 min. long, DV Standard Def that I want to encode in DVDSP. Can someone please give the compression settings to fit a 4.8gig media file on a DVD? I was told that a standard DVD can only hold about 4.3gigs
As you can tell, I'm very new to video compression. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
