I'd have to say - Why would you consider using a GPRM if what you need is available using DVDSP's standard connections? DVDSP is an abstraction layer tool meaning it writes much of the machine code needed, when authoring a disc, for you. DVDSP uses GPRM 1 - 8 in it's abstraction layer leaving GPRMs 9-16 available to the author to use anyway they see fit.
( BTW...DVDSP says GPRM 1-8 are avaialable for scripting but these are really GPRM 9-16 )..Just so you know.
No need to script anything unless it's the kind of functionality that DVDSP can't provide on it's own. What kind of disc are you authoring?

Thanks Eric. It's a product our company has sold on VHS for years that is being converted. Has a play all, a few chapters (stories) a couple other links and some additional titles (play all and a few stories) with a Rom Content folder for a catalog and notes on our company etc.
I've got the disc authored but was told by someone who used Encore I should be using GPRM's despite the sample burn working fine on multiple machines. I wasn't sure what difference it would make, if any. The standard connections work fine thus far.
