DVD burner Error

DVD burner Error

This is so wierd... I have used half of the stack of DVD -R's writing Data DVD's with no issue. After a recent OX10 update, I am now getting an error message when i try to record data to a DVD...

Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred. (Error code 0x8002006E)

Any idea what could be the problem?

Well Duh....

After furthur review, the issue was a permissions problem and I corrected. However is there a resource that lists error codes better than the Apple support site?

What was the permissions error and how did you fix it? I have the same error message burning cd-r's on my intel imac.

Permissions you say? There happens to be multiple forums packed full of exasperated Mac users with this DVD burning problem, myself included. Apple dont care.
You are the first with a reliable looking remedy.
Would you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE describe in detail how you fixed the problem?
