I am working on a menu and I am having a hard time getting the highlights on the buttons to work. I created the menus in After Effects because they are animated. There is text on each menu that represents the buttons. i.e. play, chapters, extras. They are part of the AE animation. I then drew a box around each of them within DVD Studio Pro 4. They work in the sense that I can select them and they will take me to the next menu or whatever. But the highlighting doesn't work. So I cannot see where I am navigating to.

Also, how do you choose which menu is the "Title" menu? When I am simulating my DVD and I press title it takes me to a menu that is not my main menu. Any ideas?

Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you have 2 choices here....

1. you can use an overlay graphic to cut the hole for the button highlights... or

2. you can use a DVDSP "shape" to cut the hole.

Simply drawing the button box will not create a highlight.

As for setting the "Title" menu... you can set this in the disc inspector.
