Media Error - ready to burn, but...

Got this error message - hasn't happened before.
"The recording device reported the media error: Power calibration area error. (0x73, 0x03."

Anyone got a clue what this means?

I have burned successfully until this afternoon. Not one thing changed...

Now this morning it writes!
But seems to be stuck as it's "writing lead-out data"
It's a very short, 1-minute piece. Burned fine, but hangs up at the end. If I force quit DVDSP and wait a bit, the DVD will appear on the desktop and is playable.

Any ideas on why there's this lead-out problem?

Writing the lead out always takes ages. Even if you write a tiny file to disc it'll have to write a huge lead out.

You should just leave it.

In fact I just recommend always, saving as a disc image from DVDSP and buring using Toast.uch more reliable, that waiting for DVDSPs slow interface to tell you what is happening.
