Hey there. Does anybody have any proven method for keying water on a green screen or other color screen?

The Ultimatte plugin claims to be able to key water convincingly (or at least by the people who make it!).

Hi Scott,

Are you talking about a glass/pitcher of water, pouring water, or a green screen pool? The glass/pitcher/pour should be no trouble at all.

Even the pool example should be do-able, if it is shot correctly.

Give the demo version a try. It is fully functional, but the output is watermarked. You won't even have to uninstall/reinstall the software when you purchase. When the dongle is installed, the output will no longer be watermarked. Visit the link below for the demo download:

Main thing with transparent objects is to make sure the screen is lit as perfectly flat/even as possible. On a well lit set-up you should be able to use keylight to get a good result.
