Retiming static problem
by Lopez De La Gomez on Jul 31, 2008 at 2:40:22 pm

Hi, I've been trying to slow down a video clip in shake from FCP using the tutorial by Michael Mench, which is perfectly clear and well done, but every time the clip ends up looking like I dropped a grain filter on it. I'd add a picture of before and after but I don't know how to do that. When it's rendering it looks normal so not sure what the problem is. Help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

If your output codec is set to ProRes 422, you'll need to insert
a Bytes node, set to 8-bit, just before the FileOut node.

Hope that helps.
