But unfortunately a did not have any luck yet, so i am asking if you now something better to used in order to create the effect i want. I want the effect with largest ripples ahd that occupied all the screen.

Basically you're on the right track, I think you just need to really start tweaking the values of the macro to get what you want. An alternate way of creating these types of effects is by creating animated grayscale mattes in the motion graphics software of your choice and then using them as the BG images in an iDisplace node; this does give you some good control of what you're trying to create. In After Effects the radio waves filter could be a good start; in Apple's Motion I finally was able to tweak a particle emitter in order to get a good mimic of the "radio waves" effect, basically animated concentric circles that fade over time with a blur filter applied. There's also some interesting effects in the Shake "After Effects" macro bundle (also free) like glows and sparkles and stuff.
