| If you just want to go progressive, you can get shake to de-interlace the footage for you, then render out a new version (look up "interlace" in the shake manual for more info (chapter 6)). As for getting rid of the artifacts, a basic way is to follow the getting rid of the jaggies tutorial I did here on Cow, the other way is to use a utility such as Neat Video or Noise Ninja (or any of the other competing digital camera utilities that can take in an image sequence or video and de-artifact them). If you want to blow up from 720 to 1080i, there are various products on the market for the likes of After Effects that can help maintain some sharpness in the blow-up, but in all reality the conversion techniques in Shake aren't too much softer really (look up remastering media in the shake manual for more (chapter 3)).
