Hello Everybody,
We'd like to introduce David Battistella as the newest member of the Apple Shake forum team here at the COW.
David has been a strong part of the COW for years and hosts a number of forums here, as well as writing tutorials for the site and articles for Creative COW Magazine. Oh, and he's also a really nice guy. ;o)
So please join us in welcoming David Battistella to the team here.

Yo David!
good to see you're on board! Nice to have been able to kidnap you from your previous C_Cow forum (now we have you, they can never have you back [insert evil laugh here and thunderclap] :-). Seriously welcome and it's great to have you on board!

Mark,
From my perspective I am very interested in Shake as a 2d compositing app and it's integration with FCP. I love the architecute and the node based compositing. I see participating in these forums as both a helper and learner at teh same time. It's a fantastic way to ammass knowledge.
I like that Shake is fast and open ended. As a software tool, it has a non restrictive feel.
I have never been extremely interested at the programing end (i probably would not write my own macro's) but I love that a creative tool like this exists. I like the core technologies (optical flow, Open GL support, Smoothcam) It's a serious tool, not as hard to learn as I had imagined.
