Newbie Problems with Apple's Shake Tutorials
by Matthew Ingram on Nov 10, 2006 at 12:38:26 pm

Working my way through the Shake 4 Tutorials book and i've come across two problems:

1) When I drag one node on top of a noodle connecting two others at no point do the two points at the top and bottom "glow yellow" I am unable to "insert a node in this manner. What am I doing wrong?

2) In the tutorial it specifies that when I copy and paste ColorMatch node it will become a clone node. However in the Enhanced Node there are no connection arrows bewteen the parent and child node. Again is this something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

When you copy and paste any node it takes the keyframes and info with it. If you want a linked node so any changes you make to one changes the other, then you need to paste it with Shift+Ctrl+V or select paste linked from the right click menu in the tree area.
