Comping GI passes...
by frd_2006 on May 20, 2006 at 3:28:36 am

Hi everyone,

I'm not a newbie when it comes to shake, but have little experience comping multilayer CG stuff at this stage, and am currently learning a bit more down that path..

Could someone point me in the right direction of an effective way of adding a Global Illumination pass to a CG scene? I've got ambient occlusion and specular working very nicely in the current project, and though I've currently got the GI looking ok, I'm really only guessing - can anyone point me on the right path?

Just some node suggestions or more precisely, what type of 'over' we're talking about for GI passes... iadd? imult?

Thanks,
frd
