Old empty Shake script
by reklans on Dec 9, 2005 at 9:31:00 am

I am just beginning to work with Shake and I encountered this problem when I open some old files for a show reel.
When I open the files in shake 4.00.0607 or Shake 3.50.0308 the scripts are empty, the files are maybe made in shake 3.0.
I have around a 100 Shake files but only 2-3 is showing op in Shake when I open the files.
When I open Console to see what the problem is, there are six problems:

Loaded Plugin Files...
+ /Applications/Shake4.0/shake.app/Contents/PlugIns/startup//nrkl_macos.bundle
+ /Applications/Shake4.0/shake.app/Contents/PlugIns/startup//nrqt_macos.bundle

Loaded UI Files...
+ /Applications/Shake4.0/shake.app/Contents/PlugIns/startup/ui//keylightUI.h
+ /Users/local//nreal/settings/recentScripts.h
+ /Users/local//nreal/settings/favoritePaths.h

Is there some way to make the old scripts work?

Many thanks!

The program is running on:
Mac G5
OS X V.10.4.3
Dual 2 Ghz
2.5 GB DDR SDRAM

The script is looking for a few different macros. You can download most of them (pending they aren't in house scripts) from highend3d.com.

Also you can open them by going into the shake globals under "renderControls", change "macro check" to "sub.with text". By default it is set to "abort load".

Though the script won't render right till you install the macros.
