Silly question I know...but finally thinking of upgrading from OSX 10.5 to Snow Leopard and eventually Lion. Among other apps I have Boris Red 4.3. Will it become useless? Also running FCP V.7. Any info will help and I couldn't find this topic on the forum.
Thanks - Rich

Hi Rich,

I run RED 4 .3 and RED 5 on my Mac Laptop under Mac OS Lion - no issues to report and the software is operating as expected.

I hope this helps.

Peter.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your input. I'm on a MBP as well and was unsure whether to upgrade to V4.3. Thought that upgrade was just Windows related. I'm just beginning to research what I need to upgrade (iPhoto, Adobe CS3 bundle, etc.) to stay in Mac's good graces.
Do you know of any one-stop site that specifies this?

Thanks again,

Rich

Hi Rich,

I'm not sure who you have dealt with in the past for integration but some of the bigger names that come to mind in that area are keycodemedia and toolfarm. Both are really great and are easy to work with.

There are some other user lists that you also might want to check out, like the FCPUG and the AEUG.

And here's another good resource that you might want to check into:

Cheers,

Peter.
